Product Review: InstaSPA Deluxe

Company: Amazon

Price Range: $1000 - $1100

Consumer Feedback: Read Amazon Consumer Reviews on the InstaSPA Deluxe

Who Would Buy This: Those shopping for a sturdy, midrange portable spa which can accommodate up to four people. This is ideal for small families.

Pros:

The InstaSPA Deluxe is made from tough PVC materials to make the spa both lightweight and durable. The spa walls are hard to ensure highly stability and are insulated to retain heat.

Easy setup allows one person to setup the InstaSPA in just 1 hour. No tools are required. The spa runs from a regular 110-volt outlet for convenient plug & play operation. You’ll get four people in this spa without problem due to its 108-inch diameter.

A total of 8 adjustable massaging jets are situated in the spa to provide a rejuvenating massage to relieve your tired muscles. Powering the jets is a 1.5 horsepower motor which works in conjunction with a powerful 1250-watt heater. The spa automatically maintains the water temperature well at a maximum level of 104 degrees.

Operating costs are as low as under $1/day in the summer season according to the manufacture. A filter is included so you don’t have to fork out extra for a filtration system.

A lockable, child-safe cover is included. The cover wraps tightly around the spa to keep out dirt, debris and rain water. It’s durable enough to withstand up to 4 ft of snow so you can keep the spa outdoors in winter.

Cons:

One consumer on Complaints Boards experienced the motor failing within 3 months. However, the vendor stated that complaints for this spa are rare so the overall reliability rate seems positive.

The cover is a little small so it’s a tight fit getting it onto the spa.

Guarantee: 1-year warranty.

Summary

The InstaSPA Deluxe is a great portable solution for those wanting a spa which can be used in all weathers with of course the flexibility of being able to bring it in indoors anytime you want. The parts pack away in just three boxes.

Unlike most portable spas which use a bubble system, this spa uses a jet system so you get a more powerful, soothing stream to relieve tired muscles.

If you need power and portability this could be the best portable spa for you.

M Spa Model B-90 Apline Hot Tub Review

Product Review: M Spa Model B-90 Apline Hot Tub

Company: Amazon

Price Range: $500 - $550

Consumer Feedback: Read Amazon Consumer Reviews on the M Spa Model B-90 Apline Hot Tub

Who Would Buy This: Those shopping for an affordable, inflatable spa for up to four people for indoor or outdoor use.

Pros:

The M Spa Model B-90 was designed with durable laminated PVC to meet the demands of frequent use. The spas internal beam structure uses multiple air chambers to ensure the walls remains solid and firm as you lean back and relax in the tub.

Due to its Smart Inflation feature, the MSpa can be easily inflated in less than five minutes, making it highly convenient for getting a quick soak at the end of a tiring day. The 12 ft cord plugs into a regular 120-volt outlet so no extra electrical installations are needed.

To give you an idea of how this spa might accommodate you, the overall dimensions are 62" x 62" x 27" (L x W x D). The spa has a maximum rated capacity of four people. However, we’d recommend it for use by no more than two adults unless you want to be crammed in together like sardines.

There are 105 air jets positions around the spa which are powered by a 1 horsepower air blower, giving you a relaxing, bubbling massage from all angles. The air blower is located inside the spa instead of being external which reduces the noise level.

Cons:

The air blower is a little loud in operation. However, the heater is very quiet so in general use the noise level is satisfactory.

Its heating time of approx 2 degrees/hour means you need to wait quite a while before using it. We recommend using hot water when filling it to speed up the heating time.

Guarantee: 6 month warranty on spa, 1 year warranty on electronics.

Summary

If you’re in the market for a mid-sized portable spa then the M Spa Model B-90 Apline Hot Tub is well worth considering. The ease of setup of this spa is really appreciated. If you want a hot tub which you can put out then take away at your leisure then this fits the bill just nicely.

As always, we recommend you take the manufacture guideline with a pinch of salt and you only get this if you need no more than two adults in the spa at once or else you’ll be stuck for space.

Sierra Spa with 17 SS Jets Review

Product Review: Sierra Spa with 17 SS Jets

Company: Amazon

Price Range: $3500 - $4000

Consumer Feedback: Read Amazon Consumer Reviews on the Sierra Spa with 17 SS Jets

Who Would Buy This: Those shopping for a highly durable, large spa which can accommodate up to 6 people. Its round design makes this great for those who like to socialize with friends & family when relaxing in the spa.

Pros:

The Sierra Spa is constructed with a RokSolid Polymer shell which has been designed to hold up to rigorous usage. The spa side skirt has a characteristic bamboo imprinted design. The sand color gives the spa a very neutral and pleasant appearance which will make it blend well in most outdoor environments. Using a roto-molded design, this spa is constructed in one piece which makes it extra durable.

The size of this large spa is 78" x 33.5" (diameter x height), providing enough room to fit six people. However, for maximum comfort, we’d recommend five adults maximum as the manufactures maximum guideline is often a squeeze.

Plug & Play operation means you simply need to plug the Sierra Spa into a 115-volt outlet and it’s ready to use. No need to hire out costly electricians or contractors although you will need a dedicated power line.

A total of 17 stainless steel jets are situated throughout the spa which is powered by the 1.5 horsepower pump. These include foot well jets and aromatherapy to relax and rejuvenate your entire body.

This spa is kitted out with full foam insulation which provides superior heat retention so the water stays hot for a long time and heat isn’t lost.

Top-side digital LED controls make operating the spa a breeze. From here you can use the four button panel to control the water jets and activate the built-in mood lighting to choose a color which matches your mood.

Included is a safety cover with locking clips to keep debris from entering the hot tub.

Cons:

The 1-speed pump and 115-volt operation means this lacks the high power of 220-volt large spas. However, this is only problematic for those who live in colder climate regions or want the luxury of powerful jets.

Guarantee: Lifetime warranty on structure, 5 year warranty on shell, 1 year warranty on parts, 90 days on labor.

Summary

This is a fine looking spa backed up with a great warranty. It has a nice number of add-ons which make for a great spa experience. The deep seating is very good as it allows you to sit in the hot tub at neck level for a full soak.

This range of spas has a good track record for reliability, which is reassuring. We would recommend the Sierra Spa for those who are looking for a large spa and don’t require extended use of it in a cold climate region.
